MPL is a sponsor of a worldwide organization Shikkhar Maan Songrakkhon O Nokol protirodh Andolon (SMSONPA), a non profit organization, since 1999, the year of its inception and spends a huge sum of money each month for proper education system all over the world. It spends also money to meet the cost of organizing SMSONPA seminar, meeting, rally etc. throughout Bangladesh . The organization was founded in March 1999 by the Chairman and the Managing Director of MILLAT GROUP Mr. Miah Abdullah Wazed former MP and CIP , presently he is the convener of the movement. It is a social movement to combat unfair means, disaster and discrimination in the education sector. Its primary working area was the whole country. Gradually it made long stride to reach the global community through the head of States and government of the world and world leaders. As the organization works on improvement and preservation of education in general, its message is universal, so this organization has got international attention and recognition.
